This privacy policy explains how I, Alison Letlow, an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in the UK, collect, use, and protect personal information that you provide when you use this website or access my counselling services.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) offering therapeutic services in-person and online. I am the data controller for any personal information you share with me.

Client records are kept securely for up to 7 years following the end of therapy (in line with BACP guidance)
Contact form submissions and enquiry data are kept for up to 12 months

Digital records are stored on encrypted, password-protected devices
Paper records (if any) are stored in locked filing systems
All efforts are made to ensure the confidentiality and security of your information

8. Sharing of Data

I do not share personal data with third parties unless required by law (e.g., safeguarding concerns, legal duty). This is explained in detail in my contract.
Supervision is conducted in accordance with BACP ethical guidelines and is anonymised
